Kennedy And The Technicolour Dream

The next few blogs are going to be a series…yes one after the other, each following on from the previous to bring home a nifty few messages.

The series is about possibly the single most random source if inspiration for business, persuasion and communication success. The music from the musical Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Sounds tenuous right? I promise it really drives some stuff home.

At one point in the story (and musical) Joseph becomes uber successful because he’s able to interpret the dreams of the Pharaoh. Isn’t this the secret to business and life too?

I’ve spoken many times about how if we help other people achieve their dreams and get what they want then we will get everything we want. It’s about interpreting dreams.

If you become the best at understanding what your customers (or potentials) dreams and desires are, and then interpreting what you can do to bring them closer to getting it, then the selling and persuading is sooo easy.

Think about it, if your dream is to get 100 more people to your website every day and someone comes along who has a system to get you there, that helps you live your dream. If, like the people I was speaking for yesterday, your dream is to have more confidence, when you announce that you have a programme that builds iron-clad confidence you should do very well, right?

Now listen to the song…it’ll help remind you about today’s lesson by hitting your mind in a different way (and help toward the end of the week’s lesson):
